• I love that one of the players reenacted the marbles scene from “Animal House.” Never mind whether the cobblestones fit tightly enough for the ball bearings to be a problem. It was a load of fun, and it’s something that has somehow been overlooked by every tabletop role-playing group with which I’ve gamed for the last 22 years.

    There were other wonderful things. All the players brought their characters to life, with their individual strengths and weaknesses. I look forward to more. Doorknobs, eh? Locally, “Doorknob!” is what’s shouted if someone farts around others. Then the culprit gets punched until he touches a doorknob. Hmmm.
