There will be TWO TYPES of prizes:
Donate to win:
The majority of prizes will require a $5 minimum donation amount towards an item. If you donate the designated amount AND comment saying that you’d like to enter to win the prize, your name will be entered into a drawing. We will be drawing winners throughout the event, so make sure you enter before the cut-off point!
You can enter MULTIPLE TIMES! For example, if you donate $30 towards an item, you will have 6 chances to win! Winners will be drawn at random.
Bid to Win:
A few prizes will be awarded to the person who “bids” the highest. There will be a strict time limit for donating towards these prizes.
How it works:
You must donate an amount towards the prize. You must leave a comment on You Caring with your donation saying that you want to donate towards that item. At the end of the time limit, the person that donated the most wins.
For example:
Teddy donated $10 towards the prize
Then Boxer donates $15 towards the prize, putting him in the lead
Teddy then donates an additional $6, making his total $16 and putting him in the lead.
Boxer then donates again with an additional $10, making his total $25
At the end of the bidding time, we will award the prize to the person who donated the most.
IMPORTANT:
1. You MUST comment and tell us which prize you are donating towards to enter!
2. You MUST donate for the bidding items at the proper time to enter.
3. You can CANNOT double up on donations! If you are putting $10 towards an item, it can only go towards THAT ITEM.
4. You can donate one chunk and specify what you are putting it towards. For example, if you want to donate $100 and put $10 towards 10 different items, that’s fine! Just be clear on where you want to put the money.

ULTIMATE PRIZES
The Nostalgia earrings, a $260 value, will be given to the highest single donor to our fundraiser. The Nostalgia charm necklace, a $150 value, will be given to the second highest donor. At the end of the stream, the donations will be totaled. You can donate several times through the stream to increase your total amount if you wish to.
